Audrey Hepburn with her pet fawn “Ip” (photo by Bob Willoughby, 1958) – click to enlarge
It’s quite shocking.
Ever since I first saw this preserved deer fawn on eBay, I knew that it’s actually Audrey’s Ip.
They may have tried to make us believe that Ip was taken to an animal park after its part in Green Mansions, but bear in mind that they also once tried to convince us that the earth is not a disc, but a potato. Ha, nonsense!
Did I mention that it makes me cry to look at Audrey acting for more than 10 minutes? *sighs*

POINTLESS PERSONAL REMARKS THAT NO-ONE IS GOING TO READ ANYWAY

I realised the other day that “A Forest” by The Cure has been my favourite song throughout the past 10 years. Thanks, Robert. Please do us all a favour and stop recording albums now.

“Reason did not extend itself with the bulk of the body; on the contrary, we observed in our country, that the tallest persons were usually the least provided with it; that among other animals, bees and ants had the reputation of more industry, art, and sagacity, than many of the larger kinds. [...]
I cannot but conclude the bulk of your natives to be the most pernicious race of little odious vermin that nature ever suffered to crawl upon the surface of the earth.”

Our Beloved Leader Warren
These are your instructions for the day. They are very simple.
Punch someone in the face. And when they ask why, say: “Warren Ellis told me to do it.”
This is good for everybody. You get to pick someone who’s annoying the shit out of you and punch them in the face without responsibility, because I told you to do it. Eventually, word of all this will get out to the news services, and I will be Sinister Mind-Controlling Internet Jesus, which will do wonders for my book sales. We all win.
Off you go.
That’s all for today. You’ve heard our dear leader. Off with ye!
