Looks like Bristol is still profiting from last year's Banksy Factor and decided to put on some big shows.

Maybe time for me to review my bad experiences with B-Town and head back there. Yay, Megabus!

There has definitely been enough press on the Art From The New World show at the Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery by now (Christ! They still don't have a webshite?!)), so let's look at Tom Bagshaw's solo show at the Knifesmith Gallery instead.

Nukekubi by Tom Bagshaw

An exhibition entitled Yokai Dreams promises preternatural creepiness and demonic supernaturalia, but I somehow can't help feeling it all looks a bit too... uhmm... fashiony and European. Maybe a more lighthearted theme/programme with a group show featuring Tom alongside mayhaps Femke Hiemstra would have been a bit more compelling? I guess I'll go check it out anyway.

On show: May 8 - 29, 2010

Address: Knifesmith Gallery, 11 Christmas Steps, Bristol, BS1 5BS, UK, tel: 0117 927 7749 | Map

Gallery hours: Tue - Sat: 11 AM – 6 PM

Hey there! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers?
I'm kinda paranoid about losing everything I've worked hard on.
    Any recommendations?
