Those who have been faithful servants to the WurzelEmpire® since the early days of 2004 will remember that both the website and forum featured a header based on Kahn & Selesnick's absolutely mind-boggling, retro-futuristic Apollo Prophecies series back then.

Needless to say that I've been following what the pair have been up to since then and I'm glad to report that they are currently part of a very fascinating and eclectic group show entitled Saturnalia that's currently underway at Irvine Contemporary in Washington; also featuring the work of the fantastic Melissa Ichiuji - just in case you're not familiar with her yet.

Details below.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Nicholas! This is SO going into my "press" section (if you don't mind, of course).

I cannot believe you managed to bend the time/space continuum to have 4 shows at the same time. RESPECT!

Oh, and I love the Tumblr you created for "Adrift on the Hourglass Sea". Beautiful! I feel so privileged to see the work without having to rob a bank/granny to fly to the States.

All the best for the rest of the shows and give my regards to monsieur Selesnick as well.
