“It was worth all my obsessive efforts, when, amid the smell of glue and wet plaster, the essence of all that is impressive would take shape and become a real object to be possessed.”

In other scary doll news, Beth Robinson from StrangeDolls has just announced the release of a new series of dolls.

She says:

“According to Guatemalan legend, worry dolls have the ability to remove worries from sleeping children. Children tell one worry to each doll when they go to bed at night and place the dolls under their pillow. In the morning the dolls have taken their worries away.
This is the Strange Dolls version.
Each doll can hold over 10,000 worries without breaking into tears. Each piece has been tested by the artist.”

mmmhmmmhh – these dolls are delicious and, yes, rather scary. Are you sure they remove worries and not the other way round. I’m gonna have to have a look into this nice guatemalan worry-doll theory…

This might not be a blog – but anyway it’s gonna be one of my favorites I think.
