I have no idea what Ragnarok is but it does sound like a very yummy birthday cake with raisins in it. So thank you for that!

Dear Suzanne,
Congratulations for this fourth year of artistic deviousness and adorable cynicism!* I’m a fervent reader of your blog, and long-time visitor of Wurzeltod, so I wish you *at least* four other years of rock’n'roll and indie art.
You kick ass.
Cheers*

Okay.. okay.. you can stop now (before my iBook gets all soaked with tears). *sniff*
You’re all waaaaay too kind today. I’m beginning to think it’s all just a very cunning strategy to distract me and kidnap my armadillo behind my back. Hmmm..
@Kid37: Here’s a sketch for that WurzelTattoo™…

Awww.. thank you. How weird that so many WurzelReaders™/WurzelContributors® seem to have “Ragnarok” as a fixed date in their calendars when I thought it was a traditional Russian birthday cake with raisins in it until last week. Hmmm… I think it’s time to Christianize my readership.

Now I feel terribly bad about not updating more often (I’m currently working on a presentation on Dürer’s beautiful and enigmatic “Feast of the Rose Garlands”).
Please say hello to monsieur Joslin and all your sculpted creaturely friends.

(P.S: Dürer’s armadillrhino from 1505 says hello to the lovely JJs. Isn’t it just amazing that it has a horn on its back and donkey ears?!)

Thanks doll. Yes, that’s one of my very favorite qualities of animal illustrations from that time peroid. One can almost hear their thoughts…
-What do the ears look like?
I dunno
-So should I just make something up?
No one in the civilized world will ever actually see one of those blasted things, so why not?

in diesem sinne also wünsche ich dir & deiner site viele weitere jahre voller künstlerischer inspiration!
