Why: I don’t even know why I bother linking to this show. The three artists above are the only ones who stand out from the very random selection of artists, imho. Also, I fail to see what’s going to be “subversive” about that show. But then again, I’m just a grumpy old art nazi.

Hi Suzanne,
Thanks for the link to the show even if all the artists in the show don’t float your boat. The show contains quite a variety of artists, from established to emerging…including Robert Williams, Carlos Nine, Joe Vaux, and Aaron Horkey as some of the more established participants. Robert Williams was added late as I wasn’t sure if we would get the work in time and I didn’t want to false advertise. Anyway, we have 2 pieces by him in the gallery and (in my humble opinion) they are beautiful. I hope you’ll keep your eye on us as we are still a young gallery learning and growing everyday as we try to do our best for both the artists we work with and the people who love what they do. Take care.

Thanks for your insightful words, Andrew. As I said in the blog entry, I’m probably just very fascist when it comes to group shows. I guess I just love homogeneity.
At any rate, I wish you and the entire gallery good luck for all your future projects.
