San Francisco's White Walls & Shooting Gallery (both located at Larkin St) will simultaneously be showing the touring Heroes & Villains exhibition next week.

This is a chance for all those who missed the show when it was presented at Corey Helford back in April.

Heroes & Villains is the photographic work of Tatiana Wills & Roman Cho who captured and documented the faces behind the so-called "Lowbrow/Pop Surrealism/New Fine Art/You Name It" art movement. (Yes, I hate using the word "movement" for something apolitical too, but unfortunately my frontal lobe has already drifted off to slumberland.)

And as ever so often, the Wurzeltodâ„¢ Award For Best Styling goes to the ever stunning & talented assemblage artist Elizabeth McGrath (pictured above - previously featured here, here & here) whose doe-eyed daintiness forever competes with her equally adorable oeuvre.

Opens: Tuesday, July 8, 2008

Artist reception: Saturday, July 12, 2008, 7 - 11 PM

On show: July 8 - 17, 2008
