Before you ask (not that you were going to - no-one ever asks me anything here anymore.. pffft!):

Yes, it's my day off, yes, I have no life, no friends, no proper food, no money to go anywhere, a head cold sneaking in and yes, I'll be therefore clogging up your feed readers with nonsensical blog and forum posts aaaaaall day long until the internet dies. So there.

Anyway, so next up is a book signing announcement for James Jean's fabulous Fables collection & XOXO postcard book at Gallery Nucleus, Alhambra.

Free refreshments will be provided because (unless you're British) there's nothing as exhausting as queuing. All further details below.

My own (signed.. weeeee!) copy arrived the other day (thanks, James!) - together with an adorable print and a stunning (signed.. weeeee!) postcard book - and what can I say?! James' work is glorious and worth at least twelfty times its price tag. Makes a lovely Christmas gift for your loved ones (or yourself if they're all dead).

thats not strictly true. i buy and cook you nice meals everyday, you have friends, theyre just out of town, and you prefer your own company and you could do lots of fun things, you just love the internet more!

Well, that day I had no food left and I felt too exhausted and crappy (I fainted, smashed my head against the bath and could barely see) to go and buy something. But anyways.. this is the first time in 48 hours my stomach can actually handle food again, so there would have been no point in eating at all, therefore my complaint was indeed pointless, exaggerated and ungrateful (because you do indeed cook lovely when you're here!).

As for my friends: They all live in distant countries and it happens that the internet, i.e. Skype and the likes are the only ways I can really communicate with them.
