I'll be dead honest with you: I'm not sure yet whether or not I actually "like" (oh noes, the "L" word!) these works. On first inspection, their oeuvre reminded me of a druggie witchhouse street-art version of Muntean & Rosenblum's works but given a second look, I noticed two things: i) their compositions somehow caught my attention and it was NOT the flashy psychedelia of it all and ii) they were growing on me. So I guess these two factors will make this post worthwhile.

Asgar/Gabriel (Daryoush Asgar and Elisabeth Gabriel) have been working together since 2005 and will come to Mannheim's Kunstverein at the end of the month to present a variety of recent works in a show entitled Auflösung der Ökonomie (Dissolution of Economics).
