Spreading fear and mayhem in the visual arts.

I'm all for non-cryptic and unpretentious exhibition titles, but maybe New Masters is a tiny bit too obvious - but hey, what can you expect, 'tis Shepard Fairey's place and at any rate, some great talents will be exhibiting at Subliminal Projects from this weekend onwards.

First up is Sean Cheetham (top) whose work I've often reported about here and who seems to set the direction of the show.

Also on board is the glorious and virtuous Mary Jane Ansell (bottom) - a fiercely talented young artist from Brighton whose oeuvre I vote for at every edition of the BP Portrait Awards. So much for secret voting and oil spills.

A bit strange to invite Ron English along, but I presume his less street arty and more satirical works will be on display. Unless Shepard himself is curating it. Preview sadly not online yet so check their website later on.
