Once again, the lovely Pam from over at Phantasmaphile reminds us of a beautiful exhibition which opens tonight at P·P·O·W in New York:

Thomas Woodruff will present a selection of breathtaking planet-themed Drehbilder (flip paintings) - a tradition often used on Victorian greeting cards.

Thomas' velvet canvases, however, seem to be motorised and will either rotate on demand by pressing a button or in regular intervals. I guess that's for you New Yorkers to find out and report back to me.

Solar System (The Turning Heads) will remain on show until November 15, 2008.
