Splendid news from our beloved Ray Caesar:

Ray (entre autres) will be featuring his artworks at the grand & glorieux Pop Pluralism opening of the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC this Saturday, February 5, 2005.

Also in New York, Bill Viola's beautiful Five Angels for the Millennium exhibition is still running at the Whitney Museum of American Art (@ Mildred and Herbert Lee Galleries, Floor 2).

Five Angels for the Millennium was acquired in 2002 in a unique three-way partnership with the Whitney, the Tate in London, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, marking the first international shared museum purchase of a major contemporary work.

Finissage is on March 6, 2005.

Meanwhile in Seattle, Kamala Dolphin-Kingsley is inviting to the vernissage of her SOMNIUM exhibition at the Bluebottle Art Gallery this Saturday, February 5, 2005.

Today's NYT featured a surprisingly good article on the life and work of German Dada artist Joseph Beuys.

It's definitely worth reading.

So you wanna live in picturesque Switzerland then?? Think twice.

Or at least make sure you improve your avalanche freeing techniques...

And this is, if at all, only funny for German readers:

Faithful readers will of course remember our recent announcement of the Alan Moore interview on BBC Radio 4.

I'm very glad to inform you that Comic Book Resources finally put the full interview transcript for your amusement and enlightenment online.

Oh, and if you still don't know what to buy me for my birthday, why don't you go and have a look at Chad Michael Ward's poster site?! ;)

And finally... someone with whom I shared some of the most precious years of my life, is gonna leave Switzerland for Berlin later today.
Take care, dear J.
