Vintage Vandals

A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon an art project that deserves all the Wurzelattentionâ„¢. Not only because it shows that you don't need to be a Banksy to vandalise old masters, but also because it reminds me strongly of the beloved Haunted Memories project.

For their Vintage Vandals project, the Wurst Gallery (i.e. "Sausage" Gallery) asked 15 artists to find a framed piece of artwork at their local thrift store and manipulate it into a piece of their own.

Even though most ready-mades have been sold very quickly, you can still buy a couple of pieces. Don't hesitate to email the Wurst Gallery if you're interested.

Oh, I see. Maybe you're my long-lost Siamese twin sister or something?

Don't worry about your English - I'm German speaking myself, so I guess I make just as little much sense.
